What is your favorite thing about working at SHYFT?
I love that I get to wear different hats on the construction team – no two days look the same. I feel so thankful to be a part of a team that wants to help me grow in the construction industry; I have learned so much! Most importantly, I love being able to be a part of building someone’s space for their career, a space where weddings will be held, or building someone’s home - what a privilege! Being in construction offers the opportunity to help create something that makes an impact.
What are some projects you are currently working on?
I am finishing up on a multi-use space for weddings and events, and am working on a tennis and pickleball facility, as well as two apartment buildings.
What is the one thing you are most proud of since joining SHYFT?
Being a part of watching our construction team grow and evolve.
What are a few of your career highlights?
Finishing my first project with SHYFT: the multi-use wedding and events space in Columbus. It was so cool to be a part of this project! This was the first project where I was really able to take the reins on some things, and within a few months of being on that project, I grew tremendously. I absolutely loved seeing that space come to life, and it will forever hold a special place in my heart!
Tell us something unique about you.
I actually come from a healthcare background – I worked in pediatrics! However, I found a love for construction and never turned back.
