21st Street Renovation

SHYFT Collective was engaged to fully restore this gorgeous Italianate home with 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. 159 North 21st Street was built in the early 1900s, and the structure itself has a lot of historic details and interesting layers. The SHYFT team wished to solute the essence of these details in the upgrades that we made by restoring the stair trim, using the fireplaces as focal points, and exposing some of the beautiful brickwork. Most recently inhabited as a two-unit building, our team rehabilitated it back to a single-family home. Opening up the doorways between the dining room and kitchen made for a beautiful entertaining space. Our team also constructed a brand new two-car garage, added a small patio to the back, and incorporated some beautiful landscaping to the side and back yards, allowing for outdoor living. The kitchen is one of the main focal points of the house with an island and walk-in pantry, quartz countertops and GE Profile series appliances, and a mudroom. The Master bedroom has a walk-in closet and custom tile work in the ensuite bath.
