The Italian Village neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio is currently everchanging, attracting young professionals and empty-nesters who have taken a growing interest in the area. The developer sought construction management and co-development services to bring this 10-unit condominium to life – to provide modern living to this growing neighborhood. The surrounding neighborhood has abundant industrial history, and one of the goals of this development was to pay homage to that aspect, while pushing toward modern design.

SHYFT Collective was engaged on the development project as a result of proven capability in project management, design, and construction consulting. Through mutual interest in the project, the SHYFT team worked to create a performance-based construction management delivery structure that would maximize returns for the development investors. SHYFT is performing both construction management as agent, and co-developer services to minimize risk for the developer and investor group through “having skin in the game” while delivering state-of-the-art, sustainable homes for Columbus residents to enjoy.
