Nocterra Brewing Co. - Audubon

Nocterra Brewing Company, located in Powell, Ohio, engaged SHYFT to bring its mission of “Beer + Outside” to a new location in the Scioto Audubon Metro Park. The existing building previously served as a warehouse space and now houses both office tenants and a climbing gym. Nocterra looked to SHYFT to create an interior/exterior concept that included a full-size commercial kitchen, interior mezzanine, and rooftop patio. The overarching goal was to bring the Nocterra brand to the downtown area by providing a space closely connected to the park through the use of overhead doors that let the outside in, and by maximizing the total area of patio space available on the site. SHYFT guided Nocterra through architectural design, city and community engagement, and Brewery District commission approval.
