The Ohio State University - Lincoln Tower

The College of Medicine at The Ohio State University was looking to consolidate their Hematology and Medical Oncology departments onto the 11th and 13th floors of Lincoln Tower. SHYFT worked with the University and each Department to create a program of requirements identifying current staff counts and their ideal adjacencies, while also strategizing for future growth. From there a series of plan options and vignettes were developed and reviewed to create optimized plans fitting the needs of each department while working within the unique existing structural conditions of the building and staying within the University’s available budget. The project is currently under construction tracking completion by March 2020 and in time for the University to proceed with subsequent projects as part of their master plan implementation.
